St. Patrick's Day Party

The kids all came dressed in GREEN.
SILLY FACES
They were so excited to start the festivities.
The children gathered around as Mrs. Merrill
demonstated how to make GREEN EGGS AND HAM.

They were in awe of all the eggs
that were needed to make this dish.
They counted each one.

Then while the eggs were cooking the children enjoyed
listening to Mrs. Merrill read the book GREEN EGGS and HAM.

The food was delectable.
The kids enjoyed eating the beautiful rainbow fruit platter.
Hoping they got a lot of the fluffy clouds (marshmallows).

Jocelyn and Irelynn in the background.
Davin and Levi ready to eat there yummy food.

After finishing their meal the kids made fruit loop necklaces.
Mrs. Merrill taught them A B patterns and A B C patterns.
The kids made different color patterns with the fruit loops.
They also played a game with a feather.
Mrs. Merrill went around the line tickling the kids faces with the feather.
The kids were challenged to not smile or laugh.
Kambria began to laugh even before Mrs. Merril touched her with the feather.
Then they danced and sang Irish songs.
So much fun.
It is so rewarding to see the children's growth.
Their confidence has increased.
They are all so special and we enjoy interacting with them.
