YOGA

DO NOTHING DOLL- we lay on our backs and relax every muscle letting ourselves rest completely still while we do nothing but breath.

#4 Stretch

CHILD's POSE

Occasionally we start our day with Yoga. The children are learning how to breath during yoga allowing their body to stretch and become more flexible. With each pose we feel our minds and bodies waking up and preparing for work.

Kambria Brought this creative Turtle bread for snack! It was sliced and the children served themselves with butter and honey. YUMMY

This month we are studying Pumpkins and Apples.  We will be learning how they grow and how they taste. We are also doing two pumpkin and apple cooking projects.
We will be carving a pumpkin and roasting the seeds as well.

We are also starting DRAW WITH ME SESSIONS and this month we are drawing apples and pumpkins. Look for these drawings displayed in the classroom.
